IPC zveřejnil klíč pro Soči 2014 - sledge hockey

Paralympijský turnaj bude mít opět osmici týmů. Kdo skončí na MS v Goyangu v Korei 2013 na prvním až pátém místě postupuje přímo. Šestý až osmý tým se utká na kvalifikačním turnaji s medailisty B skupiny 2013. Zvláštní pozici má tým Ruska. Pokud se zúčastní letos nebo příští rok A nebo B skupiny, kvalifikuje se na Paralympiádu z titulu pořadatelské země.

"In ice sledge hockey there will be eight teams vying for medals.

The top five sides from next year's IPC Ice Sledge Hockey World Championships A Pool in South Korea will book places in Sochi, as will hosts Russia providing they compete in the 2012 and 2013 IPC Ice Sledge Hockey A or B Pool Tournaments.

A qualification tournament for teams ranked sixth to eighth from the A Pool event, along with the top three teams from the B Pool, will compete in a further qualification event for the final three spots."
